On the same night as the Big East Tournament semifinals, two future Big East players led their teams into the New Jersey Tournament of Champions final.

Villanova-bound guard Bryan Antoine went for 16 points to leaded top-seeded Ranney to a 62-40 semifinal win over No. 5 Moorestown. Xavier-bound forward Zach Freemantle had 36 points and 14 rebounds as No. 2 Bergen Catholic beat No. 3 Newark East Side, 79-75.

Ranney, the Non-Public B state winner, and Bergen Catholic, the Non-Public A winner, will play in the TOC final on Sunday at 4 p.m. at Rutgers.

The Non-Public B winners have dominated the TOC, winning 23 titles in the 30-year history of the event. The A winners have won only three.

Public schools have won 4 with the last being Camden 2000.
