North Carolina transfer Kerwin Walton is headed to play for Mark Adams at Texas Tech.
“I really like the basketball atmosphere around Texas Tech,” he said. “I feeI that I can make an immediate impact with my ability to shoot and create plays for others and myself and help the team win.”
The 6-foot-5 Walton averaged 8.2 points as a freshman and shot 42 percent from deep, and then 3.4 points and 35 percent last season.
