Five-star forward Justin Edwards became the latest class of 2023 prospect to receive an offer from Kentucky during his first official visit to Lexington from Nov. 19-21.

Edwards, the 6-foot-7, 180-pound small forward from Imhotep Institute (PA) and the Team Final AAU Program, also holds offers from Auburn, UConn, DePaul, Georgetown, Marquette and Penn State.

“Justin is very talented. He can really shoot it and beat guys off the dribble,” Imhotep Institute coach Andre Noble said. “At 6-7 with guard skills, he is a tough matchup. He is a high character and hard working young man as well.”

Kentucky landed its first commit in the class of 2023 on Nov. 15 when five-star guard Reed Sheppard announced his pledge to the Wildcats.

Ranked by 247Sports as the No. 5 small forward and No. 11 overall prospect in the class of 2023, Edwards is the eighth prospect in his class to receive an offer from Kentucky joining five-stars DJ Wagner, Kwame Evans Jr., JJ Taylor, Mookie Cook, Mackenzie Mgbako, Elijah Fisher and Robert Dillingham.
