Carlton Bragg Jr., the 6-foot-9 redshirt sophomore forward, is leaving Arizona State, the school confirmed.
A source close to Bragg said it was unclear at this stage where he would go next.
Bragg transferred to Arizona State from Kansas in May and would have had to sit out this season, per NCAA rules.
In January, Bragg was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and was suspended three games.
He did not play in Kansas’ final game of the season, a loss to Oregon in the NCAA Tournament.
Bragg averaged 5.4 points and 4.1 rebounds in for Kansas in 2016-17.
Arizona State is ranked No. 4 in the latest Associated Press Top 25 poll.
