One of the country’s most heralded recruits, Class of 2028 guard Jordan Mitchell is headed to Link Academy (MO).

A 6-foot-4 guard with a persistent downhill game and a high level scoring acumen, the Louisville, Ky. native consistently turned in games of 20+ points with the Indy Heat throughout the Nike EYBL circuit.

A transfer via Louisville Male High, where he averaged a robust 24.2 points per game on the strength of 55 percent from the field and 42 percent from beyond the arc, Mitchell is coming off a convincing summer. He was selected for the All Star game at the prestigious Pangos All American Camp in Las Vegas.

With deceptive strength and an ability to get from both lengths of the floor with ease, Mitchell brings positional uniqueness with his rebounding. He’s developed a big game engine and a knack for engineering game breaking scoring sprees, with significant elevation on his jumper.

The 6-foot-4, 180-pound combination guard is currently hearing from the likes of Louisville, Virginia Tech, Auburn, Oklahoma State, TCU, and an array of others.

Link Academy will look to sustain the national prominence they established last season, as they featured a star spangled roster with Carlos Medlock Jr. (Michigan State), Tristan Reed (Mississippi State), Trent Perry (Kansas), Luca Foster (Gonzaga), Davion Thompson (Arkansas), and others.

Link finished 11-3 in Nike EYBL Scholastic play, garnering a berth in Chipotle Nationals.

With previous Link head coach Chad Myers leaving to become the director of recruiting at Vanderbilt, Michael Peck is now at the helm.

With the addition of Mitchell, Peck bolsters a backcourt which will also feature 2028 point guard Amarion Smith Holley.
