Registering his presence as one of the most electrifying point guards in the country this summer, Class of 2028 Albany City Rocks guard Michai White is on the move.
In the midst of several sublime showings on the EYBL circuit, White is transferring from Brewster Academy (NH) to Prolific Prep (FL).
Under head coach Ryan Bernardi, Prolific Prep has featured an array of the nation’s most highly coveted recruits since relocating to Fort Lauderdale, Fla. from California.
This past season, Prolific was headlined by a pair of McDonald’s All Americans in Bruce Branch (BYU) and Caleb Holt (Arizona).
Prolific announced the acquisition of White, a Top-25 and five-star recruit, during a video released on X.
Bernardi sits alongside current, highly lauded Prolific Prep guard Nasir Anderson and touches on what a dynamic piece like White will bring.
John Wall, who Bernardi explains played a major role in bringing g Anderson last season, is featured in the video. A recently retired NBA veteran guard, Wall describes White as a “tough as nails” guard who would form a radiant backcourt tandem alongside Anderson.
White, who erupted for 36 points on a scalding 12-for-18 from the floor during the City Rocks victory over AB Elite during EYBL Session I, is hearing from the likes of Auburn, Louisville, Oklahoma State, Providence, Northwestern, Houston, and several others.
He will head to a Prolific Prep program which has re-tooled its roster with an influx of talent, including five star wing Malachi Jordan and five star Center Bamba Touray.
