NC State has secured its third transfer portal commitment.

Houston transfer Terrance Arceneaux will play for the Wolfpack next season, he announced on Friday.

The 6-foot-6 guard averaged 6.5 points, 2.7 rebounds and 0.7 assists per game for the Cougars in his sophomore season. Arceneaux has played at Houston for three seasons despite being just a sophomore because he missed most of his second season due to injuries.

Now, he will move on to his next program at NC State and play under new head coach Will Wade. The Wolfpack went 5-15 in the ACC this season and failed to make the NCAA Tournament, leading to the firing of Kevin Keatts.

Wade was hired by the program after an overachieving season at McNeese State in which they defeated No. 5 seed Clemson in the first round of the Big Dance.

Arceneaux will join a transfer portal class of Michigan transfer Tre Holloman and McNeese transfers Alyn Breed and Quadir Copeland.
