PISCATAWAY, N.J. — Daquan Davis, a four-star point guard in the class of 2024, has been recruited by Alabama, Indiana and Texas A&M the most since decommitting from Providence in October.

The Overtime Elite product dropped 24 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in a 73-69 win over Our Savior Lutheran (NY.) at The Battle at Rutgers on Friday.

“I just needed to stick with my team,” Davis told ZAGSBLOG postgame. “They trusted me to get points down the stretch, and I feel like I accomplished what they wanted me to do.”

As for his recruitment, Davis has yet to visit any of the three schools, but will look to do so before a commitment is made.

He has no timeline toward a decision at this point.

“All the schools just want me to get out to see them ASAP,” Davis said. “The season’s getting close to the end, and they all just want me to see the campus and to see what they got for me.”

Davis talked about Indiana, mentioning their growing connection.

“I like the program,” he said. “It’s a great program and great coaches. I committed especially early, so they don’t want to disrespect the coaches or anything, but it’s all love.”
