Florida has secured a top-35 recruit in the Class of 2027.
Four-Star Class of 2027 center Kamsi Awaka will play for the Gators in the 2027-28 season, he announced on his Instagram on Wednesday.
The 6-foot-10 center chose Awaka over offers from UConn, Michigan State, Arizona and Michigan.
Awaka marks the second commitment for head coach Todd Golden, following fellow four-star recruit Ian Condon’s commitment to the Gators in late September.
Golden and the rest of the Florida program is off the a strong start in the 2027 recruiting cycle and will look to keep their momentum going.
