Utah Valley transfer Aziz Bandaogo has committed to Cincinnati, he announced on Twitter.

The 7-foot native of Senegal averaged 11.5 points, 10.4 rebounds and 2.9 rebounds per game. The WAC Defensive Player of the Year, he is an elite rim protector and huge get — literally and figuratively — for coach Wes Miller’s squad.

Bandaogo went for 15 points and 12 boards in Utah Valley’s NIT win over Cincinnati, and then had 14 points and 16 boards in the NIT semifinals against UAB.
