Xavier enjoyed a big day on Friday.
First Travis Steele’s club landed a commitment from 6-foot-11 Iowa transfer Jack Nunge.
Nunge averaged 7.1 points and 5.3 rebounds as a sophomore with the Hawkeyes, and will have three years of eligibility remaining. The NCAA next week is expected to allow all first-time transfers immediate eligibility.
Xavier will also retain combo guard KyKy Tandy, who is withdrawing from the portal. The sophomore averaged 6.6 points and 1.3 rebounds last season.
JUST IN: KyKy Tandy is leaving the transfer portal and returning to #Xavier, said Travis Steele.
