LeBron James is listed as “day-to-day” after an MRI on his groin came up clean on Wednesday, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic. He will not travel with the team to play at Sacramento on Thursday, the team announced.

James injured his groin during the third quarter of the Lakers’ 127-101 blowout of the NBA champion Golden State Warriors on Christmas Night.

James was heard to say, “I heard something pop.” He left the game and the Lakers won in a rout without him.

The Lakers are 20-14 and James has yet to miss a game this season.
