  • Trey McGowens, the 6-foot-4 Class of 2019 combo guard from Hargrave Military Academy (VA), is piling up the scholarship offers this fall.

Tennessee and Seton Hall became the latest schools to offer McGowens following his strong performance this past weekend at the National Prep Showcase.

St. John’s, TCU, Clemson and N.C. State also offered McGowens in the last month as well.

“With Trey’s work ethic and willingness to improve he has a tremendous upside,” Hargrave coach Lee Martin said. “He is an explosive athlete who is shooting the ball tremendously and running our team well. There’s no doubt his best basketball is ahead of him.”
