  • Romeo Langford, the 6-foot-5 shooting guard from New Albany (IN) Senior High School, enjoyed his weekend official visit to North Carolina.

“It when good,” said Tim Langford, the player’s father. “They said he can fit well in their style a pace. They like too push the ball.”

The visit came on the heels of Carolina on Friday  avoiding major penalties after an NCAA infractions committee panel “could not conclude” there were academic violations in the multi-year case focused on irregular courses.

Langford has taken official visits to Vanderbilt (Sept. 22), UCLA (Sept. 29) and North Carolina and plans to hit Kansas (Oct. 27), with an unofficial visit to Indiana planned for later this month (Oct. 21). He recently cut Louisville from his list amid allegations against the school. Kentucky is also included on Langford’s final list.
