Jake Forrester, the 6-foot-9, 210-pound power forward from the Westtown (PA) School and the PSA Cardinals AAU program, took the first of five scheduled visits to Seton Hall late this week.

“It was really fun, they showed a lot of love,” he said Saturday by phone. “The campus is a lot bigger than I thought it was. I had a good time.”

Ranked the No. 23 power forward in the Class of 2018 per 247Sports.com, Forrester visited Seton Hall unofficially in June.

“I saw campus then, but all we did was tour the gym, sort of,” he said of the unofficial.

Seton Hall is poised to graduate four key seniors including Angel Delgado and Ish Sanogo in the front court.

“Since they’re losing the seniors they said I would just come in and get a good amount of minutes and have a chance if I work hard to get that starting four spot which is most likely going to happen,” he said.

Forrester also met several players, including Syracuse transfer Taurean Thompson, who just enrolled this week.

“I met him, he seems real cool,” Forrester said. “How he transferred from Syracuse and how he’s going to redshirt this year.”

The two of them could form a potent front court beginning in 2018 should Forrester pick the Pirates.

“They would have him at the five, I would be playing the four,” Forrester said.

Forrester will trip to Indiana (Sept. 8), Pittsburgh (Sept. 15), Xavier (Sept. 22) and Virginia Tech (Sept. 29), although he’s not certain he’ll take all four remaining visits.

“I’m not sure yet,” he said. “It’s actually a lot. I’ll make my decision later.”

Asked if he could decide at any time, he said, “Yeah, sort of.”
