Nathan Ekwu, a skilled 6-foot-7 2014 forward from Cardinal Hayes in The Bronx, is expected to pick either Davidson or Fordham on Monday or Tuesday, Hayes coach Joe Lods told SNY.tv.

Davidson coach Bob McKillop flew up to see Ekwu on Thursday, and the player then visited Fordham this weekend on an official.

Lods said it was possible Ekwu could take a visit to Seton Hall next weekend, but will likely land at Davidson or Fordham.

Ekwu averaged 16 points, 12 rebounds and 3 blocks this season.

“He’s got good skills away from the basket,” Lods said. “He’s a better shooter than people realize. He hit a decent amount of 3-pointers. He shoots the ball a lot better than people think. His upside is high.”
