On Wednesday afternoon, Suwanee (Ga.) Collins Hill shooting guardĀ Devin Mitchell announced over Twitter that he will be attending the University of Alabama.
“Appreciative of everyone, I am happy to say I will further my education and my career at The University of Alabama,” Mitchell tweeted.
One of the best long-range shooters in the country, Mitchell should make an immediate impact for the Crimson Tide. Listed at 6-foot-3, 175-pounds, Mitchell averagedĀ 9.3 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.6 assists on the EYBL circuit with the Georgia Stars.
He joins Riley Norris and Justin Coleman as the Tide’s third commit in the class of 2014.
