  • Miller Ready to be ‘The Man’ at Rutgers

    PISCATAWAY, N.J. — When Rutgers lost its head coach (Fred Hill) and its star shooting guard (Mike Rosario) in the span of a couple days last April, Dane Miller was forced to stop and think seriously about his future.

    “Me and my mom talked about it and we decided that it’s better for me to stay and wait to see who the coach is,” the 6-foot-7 Miller, who averaged 9.2 points and 5.9 rebounds as a freshman, said last week at Rutgers’  media day.
