NEW YORK — After her victory over Flavia Pennetta in the U.S. Open quarterfinals Tuesday night, Serena Williams showed up at her press conference wearing a T-shirt that read, “Serving Up Some Hot Damn.”When an intrepid reporter asked Serena just what that meant, she shrugged and said it was pretty self-explanatory.
“It means what it means,” she said, “just serving up some hot stuff.”
Serena has certainly been dishing it out at this Open.
