  • St. John's Readies for Duke at the Garden

    As if playing in the loaded Big East wasn’t hard enough for St. John’s.

    The Red Storm (12-13, 3-10 Big East), who are mired in the bottom half of the brutal 16-team Big East, will step outside of conference play Thursday night for a nationally televised game against No. 9 Duke (20-5, 7-4 ACC) at Madison Square Garden. The contest will tip at 7 o’clock on ESPN.

    It is the 11th consecutive year St. John’s has faced Duke. A year ago, the Blue Devils hammered the Red Storm 86-56 at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
