Four-star forward Ahmed Nur has committed to Ole Miss, On3’s Joe Tipton reported Saturday.
A 6-foot-9 senior from Bella Vista Prep (AZ), Nur chose the Rebels over SMU, Florida State and Syracuse, among others.
Originally from Minnesota, Nur spent his summer playing for D1 Minnesota on the 3SSB circuit and averaged 12 points on 49% shooting.
Having visited all four schools mentioned above, the Minnesota native ultimately chose to commit to Chris Beard and the Rebels Saturday.
Boasting a 7-foot-1 wingspan, Nur averaged 6.4 rebounds per game which was one of his bright spots of the summer after struggling during periods on the offensive side of the floor, 247Sports’ Adam Finkelstein wrote.
With the addition of Nur, Ole Miss has landed two commits in the class of 2027, with shooting guard Paxton Ivy kickstarting the program’s recruiting class in early October.
Nur is rated as a four-star recruit and ranked as the No. 32 overall prospect in the country by 247Sports.
