Michigan State has secured one of the best guard prospects in the Class of 2027.
Four-Star prospect Antonio Pemberton will play for the Spartans next season, he announced on Friday.
The 6-foot-1 guard chose Michigan State over Creighton, Marquette, Kansas and Tennessee.
Pemberton plays high school basketball at Masters Academy International.
“Antonio Pemberton has proven over the last year that’s he’s a consensus top 20 talent in the class of ‘27,” Masters Academy Coach Jason Smith told ZAGSBLOG. “He possesses a tremendous work ethic and is a outstanding competitor. More importantly he’s a great teammate.”
The No. 20 point guard, according to 247Sports, marks the first addition for head coach Tom Izzo and the Spartans in the 2027 class.
