Possessing a college ready build and a refined three level scoring repertoire, Class of 2027 Baboucarr Ann was one of the most noteworthy performers during NBA Top 100 camp in Rock Hill, SC this week.
Long, athletic, and knifing his way through traffic gracefully, Ann was putting constant pressure on the rim.
Michigan State is the latest program to reach out to the D1 Minnesota prospect, with assistant coach Saddi Washington expressing interest.
After visiting Wisconsin and Iowa State during a season in which he averaged 19.5 points, five rebounds, four assists, and 2.2 steals at Maple Grove (MN), the combo guard has several high major programs in consistent pursuit.
“Minnesota, Wisconsin, Notre Dame, Iowa State, Oklahoma State, and Providence,” Ann listed as the programs he is now hearing from most heavily.
He does not have any visits lined up currently.
Ann recently heard from St. Mary’s as well.
Minnesota has been one of the earliest and most consistently involved with Ann, as Gophers assistant coach Dave Thorson has sustained a close connection to the Minneapolis high school hoops scene.

Operating offenses with slick passes and fireball assists, getting above the rim with ease, firing in 3-pointers, and scoring crafty finishes through traffic, Beckham Black was one of top players at NBA Top 100 Camp.
Now in the conversation canvassing the best player in the 2027 class, Black scored 23 points (8-for-13 FG, 2-5 3FG) and doled out five assists for Team Matthews in one of the most heavily anticipated matchups of the event.
Duke, Arkansas, Kansas, North Carolina, Kentucky, Miami, Creighton, Texas, Texas & M and a barrage of others have offered Black.
Becoming a consistent shot maker and a heady, high IQ play-maker at Southeastern Prep (FL) have paralleled Black’s major upward rise from unknown to arguably the best player in the country.
