As a long, hard-finishing 6-foot-5 combination guard, Class of 2027 SPIRE Academy (Oh.) recruit King Gibson is currently one of the top uncommitted players in the country.

On Thursday, Gibson released a list of scheduled visits, as first reported to League Ready’s Sam Kayser.

The five star is slated for upcoming visits to the following programs:

    Louisville: September 4th

    UConn: September 13th

    Arkansas: September 21st

    LSU: September 25th

    Baylor: October 9th

As a multi-layered threat capable of orchestrating offense and authoring scoring onslaughts, Gibson’s shooting percentage hovered near 50 percent while playing for Team Thad this summer.

His ability to deliver on hot reads, pocket passes, and fireball assists displayed his purity of vision as a creator and feel for the game.

Gibson is coming off a season in which he averaged 15 points, four assists and 3.4 boards at SPIRE.

The Nike EYBL Scholastic program has prepared for the rigors of another deep post season run, rehauling the roster with national recruits such as blur-quick point guard Micah Gordon and versatile 6-foot-8 wing Moussa Kamissoko.

Prone to eruptive above-rim finishes and a knack for finishing through contact, Gibson’s scoring on the drive as well as above the rim and with his off hand through traffic played into his efficiency.

Gibson’s stock increased steadily this summer as he became more of a well-rounded threat capable of disrupting passing lanes and defending multiple positions.

He turned in a convincing performance with 22 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists during Team United’s 88-84 win over LivOn during the embryonic phase of the AAU season.

Tracking down boards and utilizing his wingspan and athleticism, he turned in multiple performances of double digit rebounds
