Texas A&M has secured a local transfer prospect for the 2026-27 season.
Texas transfer Jordan Pope will play for Texas A&M next season, he announced on his Instagram on Monday.
The 6-foot-2 guard averaged 13.1 points and 2.1 rebounds per game for the Longhorns last season.
He will add shot creation and ball handling in the Aggies backcourt under head coach Bucky McMillan.
Pope joins a 2026 comprised of other talented guards such as PJ Haggerty and Jalen Reece.
