Utah State transfer Kolby King is on the move again and set to play for his fifth different program in five seasons.
A veteran guard, King is now set to transfer to Auburn for the upcoming season, On3’s Joe Tipton first reported on Thursday.
Entering his fifth year in college, King has played full seasons with four different programs, appearing in 127 games during his time at St. John’s, Tulane, Butler and Utah State.
During his senior season, in which he helped Utah State reach another NCAA Tournament, King appeared in 36 games off the bench and averaged 7.5 points and 3.3 rebounds per game for the Aggies.
King’s best season of his career came during his sophomore season at Tulane, where he finished the season with career-highs in points and assists per game.
The native of Pompano Beach, Florida will head to Auburn to provide guard depth and bring extensive high-major experience, having spent two full seasons in the Big East.
In what is Auburn head coach Steven Pearl’s first full offseason, the Tigers are also set to bring in three-star guard Caleb Williams, French center Narcisse Ngoy, Lithuanian forward Mantas Rubstavicius, Vanderbilt transfer George Kimble III, South Alabama transfer Adam Olsen, Troy transfer Thomas Dowd, Creighton transfer Owen Freeman and Santa Clara transfer Bukky Oboye.
