Former five-star prospect and Michigan State big man Xavier Booker is on the move. He announced his commitment to UCLA on Friday, giving the Bruins another talented portal addition.

Booker — the 6-foot-11, 240-pound center — has averaged 4.3 points and 2.0 rebounds per game in his two-year career as a Spartan. He never really found his footing at Michigan State and will be looking for a fresh start at UCLA.

The big man out of Indiana the No. 11 overall player in the class of 2023. As a portal prospect, he ranks No. 126 by Evan Miya. He’s mostly known for his versatility and shooting ability for his size.

Mick Cronin now has a center to pair with Donovan Dent, one of the most electric guards to enter his name in the transfer portal this offseason. UCLA doesn’t have any class of 2025 commits for next season and will be building the roster out of the portal.
