Kevin Keatts and company may be playing in the Final Four on Saturday, but that hasn’t stopped the Wolfpack from hitting the transfer portal. Louisville transfer forward Brandon Huntley-Hatfield will be joining NC State next season, he announced on Instagram Thursday.
The 6-foot-10, 240-pound forward from Clarksville (TN) chose NC State after visiting this past week starting on Easter Sunday. Huntley-Hatfield was a five-star recruit and top-25 ranked player coming out of high school.
Last season at Louisville, the junior averaged 12.9 points and 8.4 rebounds per game while shooting 56.7% from the floor. Huntley-Hatfield will join class of 2024 recruits Paul McNeil and Trey Parker as Wolfpack newcomers next season.
Huntley-Hatfield, who started his career at Tennessee, will have two season of eligibility to work with at NC State.
