Top-20 class of 2025 prospect and point guard Aaron Rowe will stay home, making his commitment to Missouri on Tuesday afternoon.

Rowe — the 6-foot-1, 160-pound point guard from Father Tolton High School in Columbia (MO) — chose Missouri over his other two finalists Kansas State and Tennessee.

“I wanted to choose Mizzou because I just felt like it was the best decision for me and my family,” Rowe said on the On3 YouTube page. “I just really had a great relationship with the coaching staff and I just feel like it’s always great to be a hometown player and play for your hometown team.”

Rowe is ranked the No. 20 prospect in the nation and the No. 4 point guard by 247Sports. He’s also the No. 2 player out of the state of Missouri.

Dennis Gates is now off to a solid start recruiting the 2025 class with Rowe as his first commitment. Gates is coming off a 2024 recruiting class that ranks No. 4 nationally and features five top-100 recruits, including Annor Boateng, Peyton Marshall, Marcus Allen, T.O. Barrett and Trent Burns.
