Class of 2024 four-star forward Josiah Moseley is headed to Villanova.

Moseley — the 6-foot-6, 205-pound forward from Stony Point (TX) and the One Time Legends Adidas AAU program — chose the Wildcats over Georgia Tech, Texas and USC. He held offers from 13 other offers, including Illinois, Oklahoma State, Penn State, St. Louis, Texas Tech, Virginia Tech and others.

“All the schools I visited were great, but I chose Villanova because my visit there was unique,” Moseley told On3. “I enjoyed their style of play and how intense their practices are because it’s similar to what my coach builds into us at Stony Point. The fact that they are a Blue Blood program with a successful history of developing NBA-ready forwards makes the decision even better.”

    He added:

“A lot of people label me a power forward but I’m actually a versatile wing than can play and guard any position. I can easily adapt to different styles of play and I’m very coachable. I’m very competitive and love to win and work on my craft. I am also a team first player.”

Moseley is ranked the No. 128 player in the nation per 247Sports and the No. 6 player in the state of Texas.

“Josiah is a rare breed with his humbleness and work ethic. He hasn’t performed and evaluated his best self yet and that’s what makes him elite,” Stony Point coach Antoine Thompson told ZAGSBLOG.com “His ability to carry himself as a pro will create the roads he will be set to cross in the coming years. Skill can only take you so far! Commitment and dedication to growth is what sets him apart.”

He joins forwards Matt Hodge and Malcolm Thomas in Villanova’s 2024 class.
