Isaiah Elohim, the four-star small forward from Sierra Canyon (CA), announced his commitment to Arkansas on Thursday.

“Ultimately, Coach Muss’ vision for my career on the court was very aligned with what I see for myself, long-term,” he told ESPN’s Paul Biancardi.

The 6-foot-6, 210-pound wing chose the Razorbacks over Kansas and Villanova. Ranked the No. 11 small forward in 2024 by 247Sports.com, he most recently visited Arkansas Sept. 16.

“I thought it was a great visit,” Elohim told Hogville of the visit. “It was a great campus, the facilities are top tier. I just liked everything about it. The coaching staff treated me real good. They’ve been really studying me, telling me things I can do to improve. I can tell they really took their time recruiting me. That’s probably the best part of the whole thing.”

He liked how coach Eric Musselman, a former NBA coach, runs his team like a pro team.

“They definitely have several big guards, they play with a lot pace,” he said. “They’re basically an NBA team in college, they run a lot of pick-and-roll sets.”

    As for Musselman’s message?

“He basically explained everything he needed to, and Arkansas is really nice,” Elohim said. “It was better than I expected for sure.”

A native of Kingston, N.Y., Elohim moved to the West Coast when he was 8. In 2021, he transferred from Heritage Christian (CA) to Sierra Canyon, where he averaged 16 points, five rebounds, and three assists per game as a junior while playing with Bronny James and others.

He joins small forward Jalen Shelley in Arkansas’s 2024 class.
