Jasper Johnson, a top-15 recruit in the class of 2025 out of Link Academy (MO.) and Team Thad Nation, continues to receive high major interest and offers after an impressive Peach Jam performance.

The 6-foot-5 guard holds offers from Kentucky, Kansas, Arkansas, LSU, West Virginia, Indiana, Louisville, Florida State and Memphis, among several others.

Johnson, a Kentucky native, has long been linked to Kentucky as his father Dennis was a former All-SEC football player with the Wildcats back in the 90s. However, the young guard is keeping all of his options open.

“It’s [Kentucky] definitely an option,” he told ZAGSBLOG in a phone interview. “I’m just keeping all my options open right now, just enjoying the recruitment process.”

Johnson has gone on several unofficial visits this far: Alabama, Louisville, Kentucky, Indiana, Memphis, Tennessee, among others.

He does not have any other visits planned for this summer, but has some schools he wants to see soon.

“I want to definitely go to Kansas, LSU, West Virginia, and others,” Johnson said.

In terms of what he can bring to a college program, Johnson mentions his basketball IQ.

“I feel like I’m a really good point guard with my IQ,” he said. “I use that to my advantage so I feel like I can adjust to a system. I want to go somewhere where the coaching staff wants me to be the main priority, have the ball in my hands at the one, and really trust me to make a play for others.”
