NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C.Jahki Howard, the 6-foot-6 small forward from Overtime Elite and the New Heights Lightning Nike EYBL team, plans to make an announcement regarding his future later this month.

“I know I’m going to be making an announcement on July 29th,” the Boston native told ZAGSBLOG after scoring 17 points to help the Lightning beat UPlay Canada, 72-67, at the Nike Peach Jam.

Howard said he has no final list “yet.”

“It’s more of like I’m just going to announce it,” he said.

Howard listed Kentucky, Auburn, UConn, Memphis, USC, Georgia, LSU and G League Ignite among possible options.

“That’s all I can say off the top of my head,” he said.

Howard plans to visit as many schools as possible after Peach Jam.

“I’m doing all of this after this session,” he said. “I’m doing all my visits before I make my announcement.”

Howard is averaging 15.6 points and 6.4 rebounds for the Lightning (1-4).
