ATLANTA – Class of 2025 forward Deondrea Lindsey was a standout at The Battle in the Peach at Wheeler (GA) High School over the weekend, scoring 18 points in a loss to Kenwood (IL).
The 6-foot-7, 205-pound power forward from Knoxville (TN) Catholic, currently holds offers from Georgetown, Georgia Tech, SMU and Ole Miss.
“The main thing is about what’s best for me,” Lindsey said.
He broke down all four offers for ZAGSBLOG:
Georgetown: “It’s a good program. Everyone there was good and they treated everyone well. I liked it pretty well.”
Georgia Tech: “Same thing. Everybody showed love. It was nothing, but love. I feel the same way about that team.”
SMU: “They’ve got a whole bunch of things going on, not just basketball, but more educational things outside of basketball.”
Ole Miss: “It’s a good school. I like them a lot – the people. Everybody is encouraging you to get better, do better in school and everything like that. It’s just all-around.”
Ranked by the 247Sports Player Rankings as the No. 11 power forward and No. 74 overall prospect in the class of 2025, Lindsey compares his game to Los Angeles Lakers big Anthony Davis.
“My moves are as good as his, I’m as tall as him and I play at the same pace as him,” Lindsey said.
