Jewell is the first player to commit to Manhattan since the program parted ways with head coach Steve Masiello on October 25. “Jewell is a big-time athlete with a motor that is extremely productive,” said Southern California Academy coach Julius Von Hanzlik. “[He’s a] high-flyer that defends and has a nose for the ball. When he’s on the floor he gives a lot of productivity.” Follow Jacob Polacheck on Twitter Follow Adam Zagoria on Twitter Follow ZAGSBLOGHoops on Instagram And Like ZAGS on Facebook
