  • Pitt lands 4-star combo guard Carlton Carrington

    Two days after landing five-star Class of 2022 guard Dior Johnson, Pittsburgh coach Jeff Capel and his staff continued the recruiting momentum by landing four-star Class of 2023 guard Carlton Carrington.

    Ranked the No. 19 combo guard in the Class of 2023 per 247Sports.com, the Baltimore (MD) St. Frances player committed to Pitt Wednesday over George Mason, Iona, Stanford and Loyola Chicago.

    He joins shooting guard Marlon Barnes in Pitt’s 2023 class.
