By CHARLIE PARENTMike Anderson, the 2020-21 Big East Coach of the Year, says he will be staying as the head man at St. Johns, following a 17-15 season and the third season in which the Johnnies did not qualify for the NCAA Tournament.
The news comes after Anderson was linked to the opening at Tulsa. But, Anderson’s buyout is $2.5 million, money that the Golden Hurricane’s weren’t willing to spend.
