Chandler Jackson, the No. 56-ranked prospect in the class of 2022, took an unofficial visit to Kansas from Oct. 1-3 as KU hosted its annual “Late Night in the Phog”.

“It was good,” Jackson said. “It was very fun. I enjoyed it a lot and loved the coaches.”

Jackson, the 6-foot-4, 205-pound combo guard from Christian Brothers (TN) and the Team Thad AAU Program, had the chance to speak with the KU coaching staff and laid out the Jayhawks’ pitch:

“If you come here, you have a chance of going to the NBA,” Jackson said. “That’s my dream.”

After taking his first official visit to Virginia Tech from Sept. 24-26, Jackson is set to travel to Tennessee on October 15 for his second official visit.

“I want to see what Vol basketball is about and see how I fit there,” he said.

Jackson says he may be visiting Texas in late-October, but is yet to set a date.
