Class of 2022 four-star forward M.J. Rice is transferring to Prolific Prep (CA), for his senior season, he announced Tuesday via Twitter.
Rice, a 6-foot-5, 225-pound small forward, spent last season at Oak Hill (VA) Academy, averaging 23 points, seven rebounds and five assists per game.
Ranked by 247Sports.com as the No. 7 small forward and No. 31 overall prospect in the class of 2022, Rice posted averages of 25 points, seven rebounds and four assists per game this spring with Team Loaded (NC).
Rice currently holds offers from Kansas, N.C. State, Providence, Ole Miss, Pittsburgh, North Carolina Central and Boston College, among others.
He is joining a Prolific Prep squad that features elite frontcourt prospects Adem Bona and Mouhamed Gueye.
