  • Texas freshman Greg Brown declares for NBA Draft

    Texas freshman forward Greg Brown declared for the NBA Draft on Thursday and signed with BDA Associates.

    He joins Scottie Barnes, Josh Christopher, Balsa Koprivica, Ethan Thompson and Neemias Queta in their 2021 class.

    The 6-foot-9 Brown is ranked the No. 29 “Best Available” prospect per ESPN.com. His former teammate Kai Jones is No. 17.

    Brown averaged 9.3 points and 6.2 rebounds under former coach Shaka Smart. He went for 24 points and 14 rebounds in a Dec. 20 win over Oklahoma State.
