Seton Hall transfer Takal Molson is headed to James Madison University, he told ZAGSBLOG.

The player known as the “Junkyard Dog” said he chose JMU because of the “coaching staff and style of play.” “I know I’ll have a bigger role at JMU,” Molson added.

The 6-foot-5 Buffalo native averaged 5.3 points and 2.9 rebounds in his lone season with the Pirates.

He began his career at Canisius College, where he averaged 14.8 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 65 games.

Seton Hall, meantime, has loaded up on transfers this year, adding guards Kadary Richmond (Syracuse) and Jamir Harris (American) and forward Alexis Yetna.
