Class of 2021 big Ashton Smith has committed to Texas A&M, he announced Saturday via Twitter.

The 6-foot-9, 230-pound center from Legacy (TX) the School of Sport Sciences, chose the Aggies over offers from Virginia Tech, Houston, Seton Hall and Nebraska, among others.

“Coach Buzz [Williams] and coach [Devin] Johnson recruited me hard,” Smith told 247Sports.com. “I love their plan of winning a national championship with a team that has a lot of talent from Texas.”

Ranked by 247Sports.com as the No. 34 center in the Class of 2021, Smith joins Manny Obaseki and Wade Taylor as the third commit in the Aggies’ 2021 class.
