Four days after landing Belmont transfer Adam Kunkel, Xavier struck again Wednesday by landing Hampton transfer Ben Stanley.

The 6-foot-6 sophomore from Baltimore averaged 22.0 points and 7.2 rebounds as a sophomore and will sit one to play two seasons unless he obtains an NCAA waiver. A source said he will apply for a waiver.

Travis Steele’s group also adds three 2020 recruits in point guard Dwon Odom and shooting guards C.J. Wilcher and Coby Jones.
