Kansas extended offers to 2023 point guard Mikey Williams and 2022 big man Tichyque Musaka this weekend.

Musaka, a 6-foot-11 center from Valley Christian Schools (CA), picked up an offer from the Jayhawks on Saturday.

    “They’re a top-five team nationally,” Musaka said.

Musaka also holds offers from schools such as USC, Oregon, TCU and Georgetown.

Williams, the 6-foot-2 point guard from San Ysidro (CA) and the Compton Magic AAU program, is widely regarding as one of the top freshmen in the country.

Kansas joins a long list of suitors for the freshman guard that includes Memphis, Tennessee, Oregon, UCLA, Texas Tech, San Diego State, USC, San Diego, Arkansas, Arizona, Arizona State and New Mexico.

As a freshman at San Ysidro, Williams averaged 29.9 points, 6.7 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 1.6 steals per game, in 32 games played. He was also named the MaxPreps 2019-20 National Freshman of the Year.

His best game of the season came on December 13 when he scored 77 points in just his ninth ever high school game.

Williams is also a social-media, highlight-reel sensation with 1.9 million Instagram followers.
