University of Washington point guard Quade Green has been granted a waiver by the NCAA and will be immediately eligible for the Huskies, per release. Green transferred from Kentucky last season in January and sat out the remaining portion of the 2019 season with Washington.

“We’re very excited to have Quade eligibile immediately and we’d like to thank the NCAA, the University of Kentucky and the compliance staffs both here at Washington and at Kentucky for their cooperation during this process,” head coach Mike Hopkins stated.

Washington is will look to replace David Crisp, who exhausted his eligibility, at the point this year. The Huskies will open the season against Baylor on Nov. 8 in the Armed Forces Classic.

Green averaged 8.0 points, 2.3 assists and 1.3 rebounds per game last season with Kentucky.
