Mike Krzyzewski and his staff are receiving a physically gifted guard who is a gritty scorer and does a great job of leading his team.

“Jeremy is a pure point and leader,” Paul VI coach Glenn Farello said. “His explosiveness and competitiveness combined with his high basketball IQ makes him a complete guard.”

According to 247Sports, Roach is a five-star prospect, ranked No. 14 nationally, and is the No. 2 point guard.

He is the first five-star in the 2020 class to commit and also is the first Duke commit in the class. The Blue Devils are also in the hunt for five-stars Jalen JohnsonScottie BarnesBrandon Boston, and Walker Kessler.
