Keion Brooks, the 6-foot-8 wing out of La Lumiere (IN) and the Indy Heat, took his official visit to Kentucky last weekend and next goes to and North Carolina Nov. 2.

“The visit was good,” he said. “Their message was that it’s not going to be easy and it has to be something I want to do.”

Incoming Kentucky point guard Tyrese Maxey has been working on several recruits, including Brooks.

“I have talked to Tyrese about coming and playing together,” Brooks said.

Brooks, who averaged 21.5 points and 7.0 rebounds this summer on the Nike EYBL circuit, is down to a final six of UCLA, Indiana, Kentucky, North Carolina, Michigan State and Purdue. He already visited UCLA in August and Indiana in September.
