Talen Horton-Tucker, the 6-foot-5 small forward from Chicago (IL) Simeon, committed to Iowa State on Thursday.

He also considered Xavier and Illinois.

“I’ve had a relationship with them for the longest out of the three schools that I’ve had now,” he told D1Vision.com. “When they first started talking to me, it was early in my freshman year. Just having a relationship with them has been great.”

He joins shooting guard Tyrese Halliburton, small forward Zion Griffin and power forward George Conditt IV in Iowa State’s 2018 class.

“I have been playing against Tyrese Haliburton from Wisconsin for the past few years and we talk a good amount,” he told Rivals. “They are pretty much the biggest school recruiting me since my sophomore year and it helps that I have a great relationship with them.”
