Andre Rafus, the 6-foot-9 small forward from Academy (MD) For College and Career Exploration, announced his commitment to TCU on Friday.
“TCU is a great place and I feel that Coach [Jamie] Dixon and Coach [Ryan] Miller can get me where I want to be in the future, which is the NBA,” said Rafus. “They both have coached many NBA professionals. That’s where I want to go.”
Rafus chose TCU over Kansas and Georgetown. He joins Kevin Samuel, RJ Nembhard, Andre Pierce, and Lat Mayen as the fifth commit in the Horned Frogs’ 2017 class.
“I’m excited to play in the Big 12. That’s a real exciting conference, playing against the best every night,” said Rafus. “I’ll fit perfectly with their offense just because I can play inside or out.”
