CNNdW8XXAAAlW4cIt’s possible that no gathering of tennis players will ever feature as much star power as this one assembled by Nike on Monday in New York.

There are a combined 86 Major titles in this group, as Darren Rovell of ESPN pointed out.

The picture includes Serena Williams and her 21 Grand Slam titles, Roger Federer (17), Rafa Nadal (14), Pete Sampras (14), Andre Agassi (8), John McEnroe (7) and Maria Sharapova (5).

Federer and Williams are coming off victories on Sunday at the Western & Southern Open and will head into the U.S. Open with tremendous confidence.

Serena, of course, is seeking the calendar Grand Slam, having won the year’s first three Majors. If she wins in Queens, she would become the first woman since Steffi Graf (Mrs. Andre Agassi) in 1988 to win the Slam. Williams is also seeking her 22nd career Major, which would tie her with Graf for second all-time.

Federer, meantime, is seeking his 18th Major and sixth U.S. Open title, something that Sampras says is certainly possible.

No word on whether Serena took the 56-year-old Johnny Mac up on his challenge that he could beat her.

Agassi and Sampras recreated their famed 1995 Nike Street tennis ad for the event.
